Bluey for restaurants & hospitality

A guest list that only grows. A bill that does not.

Every booking, every wifi login, every loyalty signup adds a contact. You email them for holidays, launches and quiet Tuesdays — a few times a month at most. Per-contact pricing charges you for all of it, all year.

Cost for a guest list that keeps growing0

Hospitality lists grow at the point of service and never stop. A busy year can add tens of thousands of contacts you will email six times. Send-based billing charges for those six sends; per-contact billing charges every month for every guest who ever gave you an email address.

Quiet nightsFilled with a segment, not a blast

The midweek promotion works when it goes to people who live nearby and have visited on a weekday before. Sending it to your whole list trains everyone to ignore you and costs more on a per-contact platform than it earns.

Same billFor confirmations and for marketing

Booking confirmations and reminders are transactional. Running them through your booking system and your marketing through another tool means two vendors; both run from one Bluey account, metered apart.

01

First-visit follow-up

A short message a day or two after a first visit, asking how it went and inviting a review. Timed after the visit rather than at it — a review request handed over with the bill gets a worse answer than one that arrives once the evening has settled.

02

Midweek and quiet-period fill

Segment on location and past visit day, then offer something specific to people plausibly able to take it up. A blanket discount to the whole list devalues the weekend covers you would have sold anyway.

03

Seasonal and holiday booking

Christmas, Valentine's, Mother's Day and local events carry most of the year's email revenue for a restaurant. Build the sequence once, adjust the dates annually, and start earlier than feels necessary.

04

Lapsed-guest win-back

Someone who came monthly and has not visited in six months has usually gone somewhere else rather than stopped eating out. A specific, personal message wins a meaningful share of them back.

05

Loyalty and birthday

The birthday email is the highest-open, highest-conversion message a hospitality business sends, and it takes an afternoon to build once.

Who it fits

Built for whichever shape your team is.

Independent restaurants and bars

One venue, one list, no marketing department. The three flows above are an afternoon of work and run indefinitely.

Small groups and multi-site

Segment by venue so guests hear about the location they actually visit. Contacts are unlimited, so per-venue segments cost nothing to maintain.

Hotels and short-stay

Pre-arrival, in-stay and post-stay sequences, plus the transactional confirmations, on one account.

Asked a lot

The three questions that come up first.

Q1Our list is huge and we email rarely. Is that a problem?

It is the case send-based billing exists for. A 50,000-guest list emailed once a month is 50,000 sends, which is ₹2,500 / $30 on Grow. On a per-contact platform the same list is several hundred dollars a month whether you send or not.

Q2Can we collect emails from wifi logins and bookings?

Yes — via forms, the API, or through Zapier from your booking or wifi provider. The consent point matters more than the mechanism: tell people at the point of capture what you will send them, and keep the record. A wifi login is not consent for a weekly promotional email unless it said so.

Q3Can we send booking confirmations too?

Yes, through the transactional API, metered separately from marketing so a holiday campaign cannot eat the allowance your confirmations need. From ₹250 / $4 a month for 15,000 emails.

Q4How do we segment by location for multiple venues?

Tag on capture, or sync from your booking system. Because contacts are unlimited and segments cost nothing, you can maintain per-venue, per-visit-day and per-spend segments simultaneously without any of it affecting the bill.
